NIGERIAN NAVY SHIP QUORRA GRADUATES STUDENT RATINGS ON 2024 SECOND QUARTER COURSES

On Wednesday, 4 December 2024, Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) QUORRA graduated a total of 626 student ratings on 2024 Second quarter courses at the premier Training institution of the Nigerian Navy (NN). The graduation ceremony was held at the International Maritime Institute of Nigeria/NNS QUORRA auditorium. The graduands include students from the Navigation and Direction School, Communication and Information Technology School, Underwater Warfare School, Computer Training School, Nigerian Navy School of Music, Physical Training and Sports School, Naval Directorate of Islamic Affairs Training School and Nigerian Navy School of Chaplaincy.
In his remarks, the Special Guest of Honour and the Fleet Commander, Western Fleet, Commodore I Mohammed- Katsina who was represented by the Commander Deep Blue Task Group, Commodore OA Akinbami praised the graduates for their dedication and resilience throughout the 6 months period of the course. He also urged the graduands to bring to bear all they have learnt while remaining good ambassadors of the School and the NN by extension.
The Commandant Nigerian Navy Ship QUORRA, Commodore BO Onalo thanked the Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Oglala for his continuous support to the school with resources that has aided in making the training of the personnel seamless. He therefore called on the graduands to justify the huge resources spent on their training by adding value to their various ships when they eventually return.
