Funke Adejumo Explain Why She Like Sex

Pastor Funke Adejumo has sparked discussions after openly declaring her stance on marital intimacy.

Adejumo shared a snippet on Instagram on Tuesday, capturing her preaching on intimacy in marriage.

The female cleric emphasised the importance of embracing and enjoying sexual relations within marriage.

“I like sex. If I don’t, how will I have children?” she stated candidly, addressing cultural taboos that often discourage open discussions about intimacy, especially among women.

She pointed out that African traditions and upbringing have conditioned women to suppress their desires.

Mimicking an old-fashioned sentiment, she said, “A woman should not show that she enjoys sex, otherwise they will call her a prostitute.”

Challenging these notions, Adejumo urged couples, especially women, to shift their mindset.

“When the man is touching you, you’re happy. So, the first thing is to disbelieve those cultural restraints in your mind, otherwise, you’ll cause problems in your marriage. Tell yourself, sex is good. I want my husband,” she advised.

She encouraged wives to be expressive during intimacy rather than remaining passive.

Demonstrating a stiff posture, she cautioned against merely adhering to the traditional missionary style.

Talk, moan, sex is good. You cannot believe that African mentality. Let’s change it. The devil is using it to destroy marriages because that’s the highest level of intimacy,” she asserted.

Adejumo also emphasised the importance of affirmation in the marital bedroom.
