Nollywood actress Ini Dima-Okojie has revealed that she and her husband are expecting their first child.
She broke the news on Wednesday via her Instagram page, sharing a video and expressing deep appreciation to God, while describing the pregnancy as both a “miracle” and a “divine gift.”
“There are moments when words feel too small for what God has done. This is one of those moments
“In quiet ways, in unseen ways, God has been writing a story only He could tell… a story of grace, of love, of perfect timing,” she wrote.
Dima-Okojie added, “God has been so kind, so faithful, so intentional. And now, my heart is holding a love I have never known before. I get to be a mother.”
The actress said the journey toward motherhood is a profound privilege, adding that the experience is already reshaping her life.
“My body is changing, my heart is expanding, and my life will never be the same again and I wouldn’t have it any other way,” she said.
Her announcement has since sparked an outpouring of congratulatory messages from fans and colleagues across the film industry.
In 2020, the movie star underwent an invasive surgery to remove uterine fibroids. Four years later, she said the fibroids had returned and she would be taking a “holistic approach towards shrinking” them.
