BBNaija’s Phyna got candid on her podcast, admitting she sometimes wishes she was born a man due to the constant pressure and stigma women deal with.

She believes life appears more straightforward for men than women, especially when it comes to expectations around success and ambition. She opined that while men are expected to work hard and be financially buoyant, women are subjected to societal judgment and restrictions.

“I low-key wish I were a man. I feel it’s much easier for guys, but, did girls, we’ve been stigmatised, and there are so many rules and regulations covering us”.

Phyna further highlighted how these expectations can limit women, adding that it often feels as if they are discouraged from dreaming big or stepping outside their boxes or traditional roles.

When her colleague, Emmanuel Umoh, Announced his wedding, Phyna reflected on the eligibility of female BBN graduates to marry. She noted how the males are the ones getting married because they are less prone to slander from the media.

Last year, Phyna revealed the results of choosing herself. She revealed that she stopped searching for love in places that had broken her and found life blooming the moment she chose herself. She added that somewhere between loss and silence, she found the true worth of life, not in riches or noise, but in breath, grace, and being.

In 2024, the reality star speaks dating rumors with a captivating photo featuring herself and a mystery man, whom she kept his identity under wraps. Netizens couldn’t help but notice a resemblance between the man’s dreadlocks and singer Kaid, prompting widespread speculation that he might be the mystery man in question.

During the news of kenya athletes Rebecca Cheptegei’s death, Phyna recalled how she moved on from her toxic boyfriend.

In an interview, the Level Up Winner stated that Edo men are notorious for dating women for years without marrying them. The reality star used herself as a case study, revealing that she dated an Edo man for 12 years and advising her gënder not to waste years on a man.

In an Instagram live session, the reality star revealed why  would love to marry a man like rapper and singer, Shallipopi. Explaining why, she added that she can’t date an Igbo man and would prefer to date an Edo or a Yoruba man.

Recall that Phyna was in a relationship with cohousemate, Groovy while in the BBN house. The lovebirds didn’t last long as they broke up months after leaving the show.
