Their journey to the altar began with Peller’s proposal to Jarvis in June at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana.

Shortly afterwards, he travelled to Benin City, Edo State, where he formally met Jarvis’ family and completed the traditional introduction and bride price rites.

The couple also sealed their union with a civil wedding on Wednesday, paving the way for Saturday’s white wedding ceremony in Lagos.

Earlier this year, the pair briefly separated following disagreements over privacy, while Peller had previously stirred reactions after publicly declaring that he would not marry a Nigerian.
