Music executive, Akeju unveils LOUD IN AFRICA featuring Diamond platnumz, others
Since its launch in late 2023, Loud in Africa, a groundbreaking media platform founded by Nigerian US-based entrepreneur Abbass Akeju, has been at the forefront of promoting African music and artistry. The brand, known for its creative documentaries, mega music festivals, and intimate acoustic Q&A sessions with top artists, has just unveiled a fresh playlist featuring some of Africa’s biggest stars.
The latest lineup includes Afrobeats sensation Kizz Daniel, Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz, Nigeria’s “Mama Africa” Yemi Alade, rising Bongo Flava artist Zuchu, Moroccan rap heavyweight DON BIGG, and Moroccan singer Hanane Elkhader. This follows the brand’s previous collaborations with other A-list African musicians over the past year.
Founder Abbass Akeju, in an exclusive statement, emphasized the platform’s mission: “Loud in Africa was created to elevate African talent on a global scale. Since 2023, we’ve been curating unforgettable experiences—from festivals to behind-the-scenes artist sessions—and this new playlist is another step in showcasing the diversity and vibrancy of African music.”
With plans for an upcoming Amapiano and Afrobeat DJ tour and a major music festival later this year, Loud in Africa continues to solidify its position as a key player in the continent’s entertainment industry.
