Rwanda hold Nigeria to goalless draw in AFCON 2025 qualifier

Nigeria’s Super Eagles on Tuesday played out a goalless draw in their 2025 AFCON qualifying match against Rwanda.

The draw comes after the Eguavoen-led side thrashed Benin Republic 3-0 on Saturday in Uyo, bringing their points tally in the group to four points.

71′ Lookman with a shot on target off an Ola Aina’s long throw-in but the Rwanda goalkeeper goes low to punch it out for a corner.

68′ Rwanda gets a chance to open the scoring but the shot went far off the goalpost.
