Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, joined thousands of worshippers at the 2026 Next Level Prayers (NLP) Conference in Lagos, a major Christian gathering focused on spiritual renewal, prayer and community empowerment.
The conference, organised by Harvesters International Christian Centre and led by its senior pastor, Bolaji Idowu, attracted a large crowd of believers, religious leaders and traditional rulers to Tafawa Balewa Square, where participants gathered for worship, teachings and prayer sessions.
The event was attended by several dignitaries alongside thousands of other worshippers. Organisers said the gathering reflected what participants described as the impact of prayer and faith across Lagos State and Nigeria.

Welcoming the governor, Pastor Idowu expressed appreciation for his presence and leadership.
“Your Excellency, Mr Governor, thank you very much. We sincerely acknowledge and appreciate your commitment to growth, development and the well-being of the people you lead,” Idowu said. “We are grateful that you joined us tonight at Next Level.”
He added that members of the congregation were praying for the governor and his administration.
“We consider it a privilege to have you here, and we pray that God will continue to grant you good health, strengthen you, and bring the dreams and aspirations for your people to fulfilment,” he said.
The Next Level Prayers Conference is designed to encourage believers to deepen their spiritual lives while pursuing purpose and building stronger communities. The 2026 edition featured prayer sessions, worship experiences, teachings and testimonies from participants who shared stories of personal transformation.

Organisers also noted that many worshippers reported experiencing moments of spiritual renewal and personal breakthroughs during the programme.
