In a personally signed message to Nigerians on the occasion of his birthday, the President expressed gratitude for the outpouring of goodwill, prayers, and support from citizens across the country and beyond.

“I’m filled with joy and gratitude for the opportunity given me to serve this great nation,” Tinubu stated, thanking individuals and groups who sent messages or sponsored congratulatory adverts in the media.

He also acknowledged the support of his wife, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, and Vice President Kashim Shettima for their kind words.

The President noted that his decision to keep the celebration low key aligns with his long-standing practice of observing his birthday in accordance with national circumstances.

Reflecting on the state of the nation, Tinubu admitted that Nigeria has faced significant challenges since the commencement of his administration’s reforms. However, he expressed optimism that the country is beginning to see signs of progress.

“Our sacrifices have not been in vain as we can see some glittering light at the end of the tunnel,” he said, while acknowledging temporary setbacks linked to the ongoing Middle East crisis.

Tinubu emphasized that the gains recorded so far are a collective achievement, crediting Nigerians for their resilience and support, as well as members of his administration under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“As we march towards the third anniversary of our administration, it is my deepest conviction that we shall succeed in building a brighter future,” he added.

Reaffirming his commitment to tackling the nation’s challenges, the President called for continued unity and cooperation among citizens, stressing that collective effort remains key to national progress.

“Let us continue to work together to build a stronger, more prosperous and resilient nation that will make Nigeria the pride of Africa,” he urged.

Tinubu concluded his message by thanking Nigerians once again and extending birthday wishes to himself.
