Los Angeles, California — April 27, 2026 — Afro Awards / Oduataj Foundation proudly participated as a volunteer partner during the successful 5th Annual Los Angeles Block Party hosted by the Love My Neighbor Foundation on Sunday, April 26th, 2026, at Gladys Park in Downtown Los Angeles.
The impactful community outreach event, held under the theme “Where No One Is a Stranger,” brought together volunteers, organizations, sponsors, and compassionate individuals committed to serving unhoused residents and vulnerable members of the community.

Throughout the event, hundreds of meals, essential supplies, and support resources were distributed to individuals in need across Westside, Downtown, and East Los Angeles. Afro Awards / Oduataj Foundation actively joined other volunteers in providing humanitarian support and creating a welcoming atmosphere filled with love, care, and unity.

The outreach program was widely praised for its positive impact and community spirit, reflecting the growing importance of collaborative efforts in addressing homelessness and social welfare challenges in Los Angeles.
