DEMPAA Executive Council Strengthens Alumni Engagement and Institutional Growth

The Alumni Executive Council of the Delta State Maritime Polytechnic Alumni Association (DEMPAA) was officially inaugurated in March 2025, with a clear mandate to provide structured leadership and strengthen the relationship between alumni and their alma mater.
Since its inauguration, the Council has remained committed to promoting unity among alumni members while supporting the continued growth, reputation, and development of the institution.

The Alumni is organizing its maiden AGM on Saturday 4th April, 2026.

Adoption of a Formal Constitution
A comprehensive Constitution has been developed, reviewed, and adopted to ensure proper governance, operational guidelines, and continuity.
Corporate Registration
DEMPAA is now officially registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), giving it legal recognition and a structured identity.
Formation of State Chapters
State chapters have been established to strengthen engagement and encourage wider participation across regions.
Creation of Alumni Corporate Account
A dedicated corporate bank account has been set up to ensure transparency, accountability, and efficient financial operations.
Institutional Support Engagement
The Association has provided both financial and moral support during Student Week activities, reinforcing its commitment to student engagement.
Strengthening Alumni Mobilization
Efforts have been intensified to build a vibrant alumni network, improve communication, and foster unity among members.
